On the occasion of International Women’s Day, and in recognition of all those who identify as such, Aéro Montréal is very proud to be launching a series of profiles of women who are working every day in our industry.

Starting today on our social media you will be able to discover, each day, the journey and passion of a woman working in our sector. With this project, we are complementing the efforts being made under the Inclusive succession planning initiative and by the Green and Sustainable Recovery Committee, which has set ambitious targets regarding ESG. I am counting on you to share and publicize a great many of these wonderful profiles, but also to personalize them to reflect your company’s image. We have developed a customizable template that each member of the cluster can easily use to highlight the diversity if profiles that every day are helping to advance their organization. Election of SME members to the Board of Directors of Aéro Montréal

Every two years, Aéro Montréal elects the SME industrial members that will sit on its Board of Directors (BOD). The Board of Directors is made up of 35 people who are elected by the following electoral colleges:

5 prime contractors (OEMs)

14 integrators/equipment manufacturers/MROs

6 SMEs

7 institutional members

3 partner members

We are therefore looking for six (6) SME leaders and members of Aéro Montréal who would like to contribute to the development of our cluster by sitting on the Board as SME representatives.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Be a senior executive of an industrial SME (President, CEO or equivalent);

Be a member in good standing in the “industrial member” category (according to Aéro Montréal’s general regulations);

The industrial SME must have been a member of a working group or a committee of Aéro Montréal for at least 3 months.

We are pleased to share important developments regarding Jaunt Air Mobility, a member of AIRO Group Holdings, Inc. as AIRO has entered into an agreement and plan of merger with Kernel Group Holdings to list on NASDAQ.

This is an important stepping stone to propel our business even further.

Moreover, AIRO is proud to have received numerous pre-order commitments as well as multiple US DoD contracts aimed at optimizing eVTOL speed and minimizing acoustic signatures for quiet operations. The certification of the aircraft, driven by AIRO's electric mobility office in Montreal, will be carried out with Transport Canada (TCCA) first, and then validated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA).
