The Fraser Highway One-Way Project will improve the area for our businesses, residents, and visitors.

It includes replacing aging underground infrastructure and revitalizing the Fraser One-Way with more greenery, new gathering spaces, and better pedestrian amenities.

This newsletter aims to keep businesses and residents informed of planned, ongoing, and completed work.

Ongoing work

Installation of storm sewer connections

These connections gather rainwater runoff from properties and move it to City storm sewer pipes to prevent flooding.

Preparation for new sidewalks

The new concrete sidewalks will have a smooth surface, which will improve accessibility.

Upcoming works starting on March 10

Preparation for new roadway installation on Fraser Highway

Crews will complete groundwork and utility adjustments to prepare for new road construction on Fraser Highway.

Completion of remaining underground utility enhancements

The remaining underground utility upgrades on 206 Street and Douglas Crescent will improve the area's storm and sanitary sewer servicing.

Good to know as construction continues
