RAC in the construction sector

For someone who holds an apprentice card obtained through the opening of CCQ labour pools, RAC-FP offers several advantages:

  • Faster access to the Journeyman Competency Certificate (CCC), since the standard duration of the training program is recognized as apprenticeship hours.
  • Faster access to Journeyman level wages.
  • Exemption from mandatory training when renewing the competency certificate.
  • Improved chances of passing the qualification exam.
  • The possibility of being evaluated directly on construction sites, under certain conditions.

There are over 30 vocational training programs related to construction trades, many of which are offered through RAC.
