Group fitness class

Rec night Expo: Thurs, Sep 12

Gather a team of friends and join us for Rec Night Expo, hosted by UBC Recreation. Teams will gain points as they compete in a variety of games, activities, and challenges. Prizes will be awarded for:

  • highest scoring team
  • best dressed team
  • most spirited team

Pre-register by September 9 and receive a free team pizza from DunnEnzies. There are 18 team spots and 2 Individual teams for this event. Teams require 4-6 participants.

Event starts with registration, prizes and pizza at 6:30 p.m. with activities beginning at 6:45 p.m.

UBC Okanagan is considering a protocol for fair and consistent processes to address concerns relating to animals on campus.Pet protocol

Your perspective matters. Please review the proposed UBC Okanagan Pet Protocol and provide your feedback by September 27, 2019.

Your comments can be sent to pet.protocol@ubc.ca. Community feedback will be reviewed by the Pet Protocol working group before a final draft is considered for approval, to take effect later this fall.

Students are invited to the first talk in the History & Sociology Speaker Series for the 2019-2020 academic year. Join Rohan D’Souza from Japan’s Kyoto University as he explores whether environmental histories of South Asia are still possible in the epoch of humans.

Thinking About Using Cannabis?

These guidelines explain the least harmful ways to use cannabis, how different types of cannabis can affect you, how long somebody is considered impaired for after using cannabis, and more.

CBT for Sleep is a new group that will run on a four-week cycle; no registration required.

Overcome underlying causes of sleep disturbance and establish healthy sleep patterns to get you through the year.
