Join us for a Dual Open House on the New Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Ice Facilities Strategy

The City of Kimberley is inviting residents to a unique opportunity to learn about two significant initiatives shaping the future of our community. On October 15, 2025, City staff will host a joint Open House at Centennial Hall, showcasing updates on both the Wastewater Treatment Plant Project and the Ice Facilities Strategy.

  • Where:  Centennial Hall (Centennial Centre), 100 4th Ave
  • When: Wednesday, October 15th, 2025
  • Times: 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM & 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

This drop-in event will provide residents with a chance to:

  • Review proposed changes to the Wastewater Treatment Plant and understand how they support environmental sustainability and infrastructure resilience.
  • Explore the Ice Facilities Strategy, which aims to guide future investments in recreational ice infrastructure to meet community needs.
  • Ask questions, share feedback, and engage directly with City staff and project teams.

“We’re excited to offer this combined open house format,” said Nik Morissette, Senior Manager of Operations. “It’s a great way for residents to get informed and involved in two important projects that impact both our environment and our recreational spaces.”
