Lead an Island Health Green Team at your site!

Island Health’s Green Teams Program empowers staff to take action on sustainability at their sites. Green Teams are voluntary groups of employees who collaborate to identify and implement practical, impactful improvements that reduce environmental impact. They are an important part of Island Health’s climate action.

Through this six-month cohort program, we help you start a Green Team at your site. Your team will work on projects to reduce waste, cut pollution, and help us adapt to climate change. You’ll receive hands-on project support, education, and resources to help you succeed.

Green Teams are for every health care setting: hospitals, clinics, long-term care – or wherever you work at Island Health! Apply here!
