RENEW & RE-FOUND STORIES

Alumni Support for Renew and Re-found Campaign Comes in Innovative Ways — With Spectacular Adventures Thrown In!

Alumnus Marc Patry (Year 5/1981, Canada-ON) and his spouse Heather created a small travel business focusing on unique and intimate experiences, specializing in the Galapagos Islands – a place where they have lived and with which they have a unique connection. Seeking a way to connect with the Pearson alumni community and give back to the College, Marc’s CNH Tours offers tailored trips to alumni and friends which also support the Renew and Re-found Campaign! Daniel Corredor (Year 45/2020, Colombia) is in his third year at the University of Toronto, studying International Relations, Economics, and Political Science. As the the first Colombian (and second Pearson alum) to be awarded the Lester B. Transformative Education | The Schenkels Family

The United World College movement’s transformative education is an opportunity that has touched the lives of students and their families for decades. MEET THE CAMPAIGN CABINET

Campaign Cabinet Co-Chairs

The Hon. Anne McLellan, former Deputy Prime Minister of Canada and Chair of the College's Board of Directors alongside Pearson alumnus Paul Lumsden (Year 7/1982, Jamaica) co-chair the Renew & Re-found Campaign Cabinet.

We would also like to acknowledge the former chair of this cabinet, Yazann Romahi (Year 19/1994, Jordan), for his leadership and support and services of the campaign for the last couple of years.

GET IN TOUCH

Meet the Campaign Director

Theron Shaw (Year 16/1991, USA) has worked in philanthropy for more than 25 years. Theron and his family returned to campus five years ago to become houseparents and, in Theron’s case, Director of Philanthropy. In that time, Theron developed the Renew and Re-found Campaign to help ensure that the next generation of Pearson students can have a transformative two-year experience on campus. Theron would love to hear your thoughts and ideas about Pearson's future and how we can support this. He’s always up for a chat!
