The shirt was developed by the First Nations and Métis Health team and designed by an Indigenous artist. It features artwork that honours First Nations, Métis and Inuit cultures.
The shirts are only available online for SHA staff, while supplies last. Proceeds from the sale of each SHA Orange Shirt are donated to the Orange Shirt Society.

Presenter: Carrie McCloy, Faculty member with the Indigenous Social Work Program at the First Nations University of Canada.
This presentation will examine how colonial systems disrupted relationships with land, family, culture, and identity and will consider how social workers can support healing practices rooted in respect, responsibility, reciprocity, and connection. By appreciating the more-than-human world, we can explore reconciliation through ethical, relational, and land-based practices. 🌐 SharePoint: Registered Social Workers | Create QR codes using Microsoft Edge - quick, consistent and secure A Quick Response (QR) code makes it easy to share information. When someone scans a QR code with their mobile device camera, it can instantly open a website, document, email address or contact information.
QR codes work best on physical items such as posters, signs, brochures, displays and presentation slides. They are less useful on digital content like emails, websites or online documents because most people view these items on their mobile devices and cannot easily scan the code. In these cases, a direct clickable link is the best option.
While many free online tools can generate QR codes, they may collect your data or introduce privacy and safety risks. Instead, use Microsoft Edge to create your QR code. It’s available to all staff, keeps your data secure, and takes less than a minute. Unfortunately, we also see a lot come back when it shouldn’t.
3sHealth sends out important benefits-related mail to members every day, as well as large pieces of correspondence. These large mailings also reveal that some people forget to make sure their mailing address is up to date, as more than half of the mail we receive some weeks is marked “return to sender” due to incorrect or incomplete mailing addresses.
For Employee Benefit Plans members, an incorrect mailing address could mean they will not receive information about their plan in a timely manner or, if they have not opted in for direct deposit while on a disability claim, their claims payments.
Visit 3sHealth.ca for more information on how to make sure your address is up to date. 🌐 3sHealth | Individual Client Risk Assessment (ICRA) program update The ICRA program, designed to measure and communicate the risk of violence between staff, is just over a year into its three-year implementation journey.
The implementation team has supported the rollout of the program at 50 facilities helping staff identify and communicate client-specific risks in a consistent way. As implementation continues, facilities are finding practical ways to integrate ICRA into their workflows. - Pasqua Hospital (Regina) showed early engagement, leading to high training rates and successful integration of ICRA components into workflows and documentation.
- Saskatchewan Hospital (North Battleford) demonstrated a strong commitment to ICRA integration. Robin Zimmer, Senior Staff Development Coordinator, developed a site-wide work standard with charting and shift-to-shift reporting guidelines. ICRA information was also embedded into patient-specific information boards, helping ensure risk information is visible to all staff who need it.

This procedure outlines the standards of care for patients post Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) or Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor (TURBT) requiring urinary catheter traction. Urinary catheter traction is used to promote hemostasis by applying pressure to the resection site. This procedure outlines the application of traction, monitoring requirements and documentation.
