Kindergarten!

Kindergarten is just around the corner!

With many local schools hosting meet and greet / SPARK events in spring, kindergarten can feel like it is coming up faster than ever.

New routines, new faces and new experiences can sometimes make the transition into school difficult or nerve wracking for your child. Reading stories with them as they approach this transition can help your child learn what to expect in kindergarten, and maybe help get them excited for school.

Now is also the perfect time to participate in our 1001 Before Grade One program, if you haven’t already done so. Ask us about 1001 Before Grade One on your next visit to any of our library branches or visit tnrl.ca/1001 for more information.
