PUBLIC WORKS

The public works department is currently in a "restricted services" mode. Please contact them only for essential services. We will notify you when normal service resumes.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Regular waste collection continues on the usual schedule. However, there will no longer be any collection of large pieces or bulk materials until further notice.

Hazardous Waste
The collection of household hazardous waste that was to take place this month is canceled. Note, however, that the ecocentres are open. To find the closest ecocentre and opening hours, visit montreal.ca or contact 311.

Do not throw your cleaning wipes in the toilet
Whether to disinfect surfaces, clean your hands or to replace toilet paper, note that despite what the packaging indicates, no wipe is disposable in the toilet. These wipes block the mechanisms of wastewater treatment plants and cause problems. Read more

MAYOR'S BLOOD DONOR CLINIC

For logistical reasons in this pandemic period, the mayor's annual blood donor clinic, scheduled for May 5, is unfortunately canceled.

Héma-Québec still needs you! The organization calls on the generosity of citizens to maintain the blood supply despite the pandemic. Several collections take place in the region. Visit the Héma-Québec site for the dates and places of the next blood drives.

If you live in a flood risk zone, it is your responsibility to be prepared. It is IMPERATIVE that you take all the necessary measures to properly prepare yourself.

Be proactive!
