ZERO WASTE TIP OF THE WEEK

The number of takeout cups that end up in our landfill has increased significantly. Remember that you can bring your own mug and many cafés around town even offer discounts if you do – ask at your favourite spot. If you end up with a paper or plastic takeout mug, dispose of them in your blue recycling tote.

Timeframe: July through September.
