More details here | Nov. 14: Partnership in Research Webinar Brain injury in women experiencing intimate partner violence Brain injury due to intimate partner violence is a underrecognized but remarkably common occurrence primarily affecting women and sex- and gender-minority individuals. This presentation discusses recent research taking place at UBCO that examines the impacts on brain function and how the systems put in place to support survivors can be improved. Register here | Nov. 18: Libera tu sera bailando – "free your being through dancing" 💃 Join SVPRO for a dance class facilitated by Mayca Lucero (she/her). In this workshop, Mayca guides participants through a rich blend of Latin rhythms, ecstatic dance, contact improvisation, and Mexica dances. The space encourages participants to connect with their bodies, build confidence, enjoy movement, and have fun while engaging with others.
