Diocesan Synod 2019

Synod will be meeting October 24-26th, 2019. In the interest of reducing our carbon footprint, we will follow an electronic Synod format. Please visit ottawa.anglican.ca/synod frequently for all updates and materials.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSES:

Next course date: Sep 20-21, 2019

Our marriage preparation courses are designed to help participants to learn and grow through presentations given by professional speakers, small group discussions with trained facilitators, and couple conversations. All couples are welcome and participation is not limited by gender, age, or previous marital status.

National Capital Pride Day parade

 

Demonstrate your parish's welcome to members of the GLBTQ2S community by joining the contingent of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa in the annual Pride Day parade.

 

The parade will be held, rain or shine, on Sunday afternoon August 25. Start time is 1:30 pm. Participants are encouraged to join the contingent before 1:00, at the marshalling area, on Argyle just east of Bank. Look for the banner of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa. Bring your own parish banners and placards.

Baseball Game Ticket for Aug 29, 2019

All of the Anglican churches in Ottawa are invited to the Ottawa Champions baseball game on August 27, 2019 .

To get your ticket voucher please click here. The Champions would prefer that each person over the age of five to have a voucher which they would just need to present at the ticket window.
