Happy July Fairview—Clayton Park!
I hope you are enjoying the first few weeks of summer and are doing your best to keep cool in all of this heat! One way to do so was at my Schools Out at the Market Ice Cream Social! Thank you to everyone who came out, it was great to get to chat with so many of you. We had so much fun celebrating the end of the school year, I have decided to do it all again in September to celebrate the start as well!
We have so much to look forward to still to come this summer so make sure you keep your eyes out on Facebook and Instagram to see what is coming up.
This week, for instance, is the Fairview Market's "Christmas in July" event. You can take a photo with "Summer Santa," stock up on some early gift purchases, and support our local vendors. It's a fantastic way to get into the festive spirit while enjoying the summer sun! Also this week is the grand re-opening of the Keshen Goodman library. The event kicks off at 9:30 Friday, stop by and check the new spaces out then head down to Tim Horton’s Lacewood where MP Lena Metlege Diab and I will be having an informal coffee and chat from 11-12 noon.
I've had the opportunity to meet many of you on your doorsteps as I continue to canvas our riding. It's been a pleasure hearing your thoughts and concerns, and I am committed to speaking with each of you over the next couple of months. Know that so many of our conversations will help form Nova Scotia Liberal Party policy as we continue to gear up for a potential fall provincial election. If I miss you at the door, please know you can always reach out to me directly and have a conversation at a time that suits you better! I’m here to listen, to help and to advocate. I’m committed to making our community the best it can be.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement. Your involvement is crucial in making Fairview Clayton Park a vibrant and thriving community. I look forward to seeing you at these upcoming events and throughout the summer.
Stay hydrated!
