Cultural Safety & Humility Action Series

Next Webinar: Cultural Safety Frameworks
September 6 | 1200 - 1300 PST | WebEx

We're looking forward to the ninth webinar in our year-long Cultural Safety & Humility Action Series with the First Nations Health Authority on Wednesday, September 6!

Learn from Leslie Bonshor, a member of Tzeachten First Nation and the Aboriginal Health Executive Advisor at Vancouver Coastal Health, about how the health authority is transforming their work. Leslie's presentation addresses the questions of how we put cultural safety and humility into practice, and how we can hardwire the Indigenous perspective into everything we do in health care.

Leslie will discuss the multiple levels of support and enablers for implementing a cultural safety framework and action plan, including HR recruitment, organization systems, physical spaces, and beyond.

This webinar is open to anyone interested in learning more about cultural safety and humility, but is particularly relevant to those looking to increase cultural safety for Indigenous patients and clients in their organizations.
