New Public Art for 2025
Coquitlam Brightens the City with the Streetscape Enhancement Program

Launched in 2023, our Streetscape Enhancement Program aims to beautify Coquitlam's streets and public spaces with art and amenities. Some colourful new features for 2024 and 2025 include murals, bike racks, benches, and twinkling lights, bringing more vibrancy to our public spaces while fostering connection and pride in our community.

Dog Licence Renewal
Save with Discounted Rates before February 1

Renew or purchase your dog license online – it’s fast and easy! When you get your 2025 licence, you’ll also receive an easy-to-identify tag to help you reunite with your dog if they get lost. Your licence fees support care costs for local shelter animals and help them find new homes.

Spirit of Coquitlam Grants Awarded
Over $207,000 Support 22 Local Organizations

Coquitlam community grants have been awarded, supporting local non-profit and community organizations in hosting concerts, sports, seniors' programs and more. If your organization could use funding to build community spirit, watch for the next Spirit of Coquitlam grant intake, starting February 3.

Register for Swimming on February 4, Skating on February 11

Get ready  to enjoy some spring activities! Spring swim program registration for Coquitlam residents starts on February 4, while skating registration opens on February 11. Programs will be viewable online starting January 29, so plan ahead and don’t forget to update your SignMeUp account.

Temporary Closure of Trevor Wingrove Way

Beginning Monday, January 20, vehicle access to Town Centre Park via Trevor Wingrove Way and Pipeline Road will be closed for approximately six weeks, to accommodate Metro Vancouver’s work to construct a new water main along Pipeline Road. Detours will be in place and all other access points to the park will remain open.

The City is honoured to be located on the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm traditional and ancestral lands, including those parts that were historically shared with the q̓ic̓əy̓ (kat-zee), and other Coast Salish Peoples.
