New parents are invited to our Baby Party! We will have songs, books, & rhymes followed by coffee/tea and chat time—this is a free program for babies 0-18 months and their caregivers!

Join us every other Thursday for friendly all-ages chess! All experience levels welcome. Chess boards provided.

Teen Advisory Group

Saturday, March 26, 2022| 2:00-3:30 pm

We’ll have games and activities, discuss our favourite books, and spend some time planning a teen Dungeons & Dragons program for April. If you are a keen D&D player or are new and curious about this fun table-top adventure game, come join us!

Teens are welcome to register with us via email at info@bowenlibrary.ca or drop in to any TAG dates.

TAG Meetings are the last Saturday of every month from February–May 2022.

Book Donation Days

Saturday, March 5, 2022 | 1 pm

The next Friends of the Bowen Library book donation day is in the Library Annex on Saturday, March 5, from 1 pm until the volunteers’ bins are full (no later than 3 pm).

A volunteer will pre-screen your donations while you wait, and will accept those that meet donation guidelines. You will be asked to please take back any items that do not meet the donation guidelines.

Spring Storytime

April 29-June 17, 2022 | 10:30-11:00 am

Storytime is stories, songs, and play activities for 2-4 year-olds and their caregivers!
