In carving landscapes out of antiquated books, or painting them on their surfaces, Laramée transforms mountains of neglected or antiquated knowledge into the physical representation of mountains. These metaphorical mountains erode and become hills, which later flatten into fallow fields.

Echoes at the Garment District

Echoes - a voice from uncharted waters is an interactive sound-and-light representation of a whale that invites us to look and listen closely. Interacting respectfully with the marine mammal’s vital space takes you into an enigmatic melodic world. LeMonde Studio: A Dog's Life

Dog Island Summer located in Rafferty Triangle, Long Island City was designed and fabricated by LeMonde Studio. The installation features various interactive items including a large fire hydrant, a dog biscuit- shaped park bench, a large collar featuring popular local dog names, and two music boxes.
