FALL 2026

IN THIS ISSUE

NEWS

We had a very busy spring and summer! Here are some updates:

  • We updated our off-site mediation service, which provides up to 8 hours of subsidized mediation to anyone in the GTA without a court file;

  • Between April and September, we've helped 7,222 clients through the Family Law Information Centre (FLIC). Of that total, 2,996 people came to us for support between June and August alone.

  • Our on-site Information & Referral Coordinator (IRC) service was updated to clarify that IRCs cannot, unfortunately, help parties complete their court forms.

  • We updated the “Green Book” of precedent forms that our IRCs can provide to the public, along with support using Guided Pathways;

  • An IRC is now attending the Integrated Domestic Violence Court each Thursday, to offer referrals and supports for parties in that court;

  • Our on-site mediation services have grown considerably, leading to the addition of a daily virtual mediator on stand-by in each court;

  • We introduced a new chat feature on our website, giving the public immediate access to answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our services— try it out!

  • We will soon offer Child Inclusive Mediation, for on-site and off-site mediation.
