Formalizing our partnership with Porter Airlines: Representatives from Porter Airlines paid us a special visit recently to meet our future pilots and talk about the Destination Porter program! Thank you to Sunny Grewal and Harrison Turner for taking the time to meet our students and answer their questions! This visit definitely sparked enthusiasm and inspiration among the student community, motivating them to pursue their dreams.

There will be no relocation of the Mascouche airport. This is the end of a saga that lasted almost ten years.

In 2019, following the decision of Minister of Transport Garneau which prohibited the establishment of an aerodrome in Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan, legal action was taken in the Federal Court. Unlike the story of David and Goliath, here it was David who lost. The promoters for the relocation of the Mascouche airport had to decide, to their great regret, to sell the lot chosen for this new aerodrome. The sale of the land was finalized before a notary on March 25th.

Aviateurs.Québec, which had financially supported the debate before the courts, can only be saddened by the turn of events. and the negative impact on the next generation in general aviation, whether pilot or mechanic.

A message from the organizer Hugo Desrochers.
