Province introduces temporary sick days program

The Ontario government has announced the “Worker Income Protection Benefit” which grants eligible employees three sick days, paid by their employer and reimbursed by the WSIB. Check out the latest details on the program here.

Deadlines for the latest CERS & CEWS periods are coming up
– don’t miss them!

May 20 is the next deadline for the federal rent and wage subsidies – period 2 of CERS and period 9 of CEWS. Make sure you know what you need to apply.

The CRA will allow extensions on applications for CERS and CEWS – but only in a few circumstances, such as if CRA gave you the wrong information.
