Black History Month

Hi !

This Black History Month, we honor the rich history, achievements, and contributions of Black communities in shaping our society. It's also a time to reflect on the importance of fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion in all areas of life—especially in the workplace.

We also encourage employers to reflect on how they can create more inclusive workplaces. WorkBC offers resources and consultation to help organizations build diverse teams and foster equitable opportunities.

The Vancouver School Board is hiring for education assistants to work with students with special needs in the classroom. Working alongside the class teacher and as part of the school-based team, this position plays a vital role supporting our most vulnerable students.The Vancouver School Board is hiring for both full-time and part-time/on-call positions. At the session, we will discuss how to qualify for these positions, training opportunities, and tips on how to apply.

Essential Work Skills for Newcomers - Cohort 8

The Essential Work Skills for Newcomers Program is accepting registrations! This free 4-week program supports newcomers to gain knowledge and skills to succeed in the Canadian workforce.

Dates: Monday 10th February – Monday 10th March, 2025
