Image of the Year Contest

Thank you to all our users for their submissions to our end-of-year image contest. We've narrowed down the list of entries to the four finalists below. The image with the most votes will be crowned 'image of the year' and displayed in a frame outside the lab. Each user may only vote once. The contest will close at midnight on Monday, January 8.

Holiday Closure

The CHTP will be closed for the holiday season beginning on the afternoon of Friday, December 22. The lab will reopen on Tuesday, January 2. Equipment reservations will be available up until the lab closure on December 22. Technical assistance for microscopy and sample preparation will be available until December 8, and technical support for micro-CT analysis will be available until December 22.

New CHTP Guest Pass

The CHTP has implemented an online request system for one-time visitors (who are only present to observe) to accompany users to the facility. The online form, available on the CHTP homepage, must be filled out by the visitor and should be submitted 24 hours before the intended visit.
 

Lost and Found

Several personal belongings have been found at the CHTP. If you’re the owner of any of these missing items, please come by to pick them up.

There are also a large number of analyzed samples that should be picked up. If you haven’t picked up your samples yet, please do so at your earliest convenience.
 

Data Clean-up

A reminder to clean up your image directories on CHTP computers and TeamShare. The storage space is meant for data transfer, not long-term storage. Please download any files you have stored on TeamShare and delete files after. All files older than six months are subject to deletion without notice.
