IRES's seminar series begins again September 11th! PhD student Victor Cardenas will explore how climate change impacts the lending capacity of microfinance institutions (MFIs) to smallholder farmers (SHFs), this talk will analyze global trends in physical climate risk—particularly tropical storms and floods—and their effects on 4,500 MFIs under various climate scenarios.

IRES, Campus + Community Planning, and the Sustainability Hub are offering the Micro-certificate Climate Action Planning: Foundations, Finance and Implementation this coming fall. 

In its second iteration, the program is designed to equip professionals with the tools, confidence, and foundational skills to begin climate action planning within their organizations and communities. Please help us promote the program by sharing it with your networks.
