GUEST OF THE MONTH: François Picard

He fell into it very early in life. At 9 years old, his mother swapped the comfort of their Paris suburb for the ebullient Texas, where they were going to live for two years. Then, during his journalism studies, he backpacked along many routes for weeks.

Independent filmmaker and writer, François Picard continues to add to his excursions throughout the world and through his writing and documentary projects to offer his eye for beauty and paradoxes. He produces and broadcasts his work through the travel enthusiast network of Les Grands explorateurs in Québec and public TV in France.
