Construction update:

campus as the parking garage takes shape

As the largest health care provider in Eastern Ontario, The Ottawa Hospital is already a vital hub in the regional health-care system. Now we’re building, expanding, and integrating our infrastructure, programs, and services to enhance patient experience and deliver the best care possible.

This aerial video of the site of our new campus, filmed in July 2024, shows the construction of the parking garage that will support our new campus and one of the most modern, technologically advanced and accessible hospital and research facilities in Canada. It also indicates the location where the new hospital will be built.

Visit our website for more information on TOH’s state-of-the-art new campus and how it will impact the future of health care.

Meet The Ottawa Hospital's new Digital Teammate

In June, The Ottawa Hospital began testing its new Digital Teammate using screens at its three campuses. The Teammate is an innovative, AI-powered digital assistant that is designed to provide human-like interactions with staff, patients and visitors.

For a limited time, you can meet the Teammate online and ask questions about TOH’s new campus in French or English. Open this link and select your preferred language.

The Teammate currently only answers questions related to known information on TOH’s new campus. It does not have access to medical records or other information about TOH.

Not sure what to ask? Try:

  • How many beds will the new campus have?

  • Where will the new campus be located?

  • How is the new campus environmentally sustainable?

When you’re done, please fill out a two-minute survey and share your feedback about the experience to tell us where you could see the Digital Teammate support patients and our community. This feedback will help us ensure that future versions of the Digital Teammate function seamlessly as we look for ways that it can support our patients within and beyond our hospital walls.
