Step back in time at the Craigleith Heritage Depot with traditional crafts inspired by generations past.

We’ll kick off the series with an Easy-Sew Rag Doll Workshop, followed by felt-sewn bookmarks, basic weaving, and more heritage-inspired projects throughout the season.

Expressive Youth Art Therapy

A supportive group art therapy program for youth ages 8–12 to explore feelings, express themselves creatively, and build healthy coping skills.

Through art, creative activities, and gentle discussion, participants will learn about emotions, develop strategies for managing difficult experiences, and build resilience in a safe and supportive environment.

Facilitated by Cassandra Kustec, Registered Psychotherapist.

Join local author Renn James (Karen James), winner of the 2026 International Book Award for Children’s Book: Nonfiction, as she celebrates the release of her second picture book, Gathering Wishes.

Hear the inspiration behind her newest story, learn about the importance of supporting children’s mental health through storytelling, and celebrate this special new release.

Tanya Zaryski and Jerome Evola come together for their first two-person exhibition at The Gallery at L.E. Shore. Explore Tanya’s lush, detailed paintings inspired by the natural world alongside Jerome’s expressive landscapes and studies of the sky.

The exhibition runs August 29–September 30.

ORCHIDS IN THE BLUE MOUNTAINS

Did you know that the Niagara Escarpment and local wetlands are home to dozens of native wild orchid species?

Our new exhibition highlights these rare, elusive, and ecologically vital native plants. From delicate Lady's Slippers hiding in forested glens to tiny bog species along Georgian Bay, discover the surprising history, biodiversity, and conservation efforts surrounding our local flora. This display offers a fascinating look at the natural heritage beneath our feet.

Stop by during regular operating hours to explore the exhibit and learn how to help protect these sensitive native species.
