FIPR 133 Showcase Screening - April 11th 

In conjunction with UBC Theatre & Film, and Adjunct Professor Alejandro Yoshizawa, the students of FIPR 133 will be presenting their short film projects in a final showcase! Come join us at the Frederic Wood Theatre on Thursday, April 11th at 5pm for a FREE screening of student films, followed by a reception with light refreshments. BMS students! If you need a final wind down before the end of term, to say goodbye to fellow students or to take some time before exams, visit UBC Media Studies Student Association on the lawn on Main Mall for some pizza and sunshine on Tuesday, April 9th from 4-6pm.

MOA Shop Emerging Indigenous Artist Contest

Are you an emerging Indigenous artist, between 15 and 25 years old, with something to say? Submit an artwork that expresses your identity, and the MOA Shop will help share it with the world. The winner will receive a $250 prize, plus royalties from printed artwork. The submission deadline is May 5, 2019. Please send all submissions and any questions to Winner announced in June 2019!

Are you interested in joining the Emerging Media Lab's Student Development team? Fill out this form and they will let you know when they start hiring! Their hiring dates are usually in September and May. Application intakes begin in May or July.
