Connecting through communication boards at Langley City facilities

A communication board is a visual tool that displays pictures, symbols, words, and letters that help individuals express their needs, thoughts, and feelings. Communication boards are important because they provide an accessible way for people with communication challenges to interact, make choices, and participate in their community. They help foster inclusion, independence, and meaningful connections by giving everyone a voice.

Visit the new communication board in the Games Room at Timms Community Centre and tell us about your experience.
