Dear Friends,

Welcome to 2021, a year which we all hope will be calmer than 2020 but which hasn't been so far.

Thank you for reading Canadian Yearly Meeting's monthly electronic newsletter—we're glad to have you! If you know others who might like to receive this, please feel free to forward this message so that other friends can subscribe at the link below. Your help in connecting Friends across the country is deeply appreciated!

It's nominations season!

Have you been thinking of a skill you'd like to develop or wishing you could think of another way to give back? Nominations Committee is looking for Friends to serve on CYM committees, which can be a great way to connect with Friends across the country. Nominations take place through your Monthly Meeting, so please reach out to your local nominations committee to discern a leading to serve or to suggest that another Friend has gifts to share.

Monthly online worship sharing with Quaker Earthcare Witness

"Mark your calendars for the last Wednesday of the month: February 24, March 31, April 28, and May 26 at 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific.

Worship sharing focuses on a particular question and helps us to explore our own experience and share with each other more deeply than we would in normal conversation. It seeks to draw us into sacred space, where we can take down our usual defenses, and encounter each other in 'that which is eternal.'"
