TOUS DES MAESTROS PROJECT

Another unifying and stimulating project of I Musici de Montréal, Tous des maestros, has recently concluded. These musical workshops offered to some seniors in low-income housing were led by a quartet of I Musici, by musicologist Caroline Tremblay and our chef Jean-François Rivest. We worked on the development of self-confidence by learning the basics of conducting; each person even conducted the ensemble and experienced the effect of his gestures on the musical result heard! Participants also attended a full concert of I Musici last December at the Salle Pierre-Mercure.
