THE MACH INITIATIVE IS BEING DEPLOYED BEYOND QUÉBEC!

I am very proud to announce that we have signed a collaborative agreement with the Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association (ACADA) to launch the MACH Initiative in Atlantic Canada.

The agreement was signed on Monday, December 2, at the 2020 Economic Trends seminar, in the presence of Carl Kumpic, Vice President of ACADA, representing Brian Johnston, President of ACADA.

The deployment of the MACH-Atlantic Initiative is a testament to the strength and credibility of the program. This turnkey solution facilitates the development and improvement of suppliers’ operational efficiency. The Initiative has been successfully implemented in Québec and is helping to improve the productivity of Québec companies enrolled in the program. The rollout of the Initiative to other parts of Canada supports our international competitiveness.

Finally, I’d like to take advantage of this last Newsletter of the year to wish you a wonderful holiday season. See you next year!

Green and Intelligent Supply Chain Working Group

A success for 4.0 Orientation Day and 2020 Economic Trends!

Nearly 250 participants attended the event, co-hosted by Aéro Montréal and the STIQ.

First, it featured a seminar on Industry 4.0 that gave participants an understanding of why many companies have embarked on this technological transformation.

We then held our traditional “2020 Economic Trends” event. Guy LeBlanc, CEO of Investissement Québec, was our keynote speaker and spoke on the theme “The New IQ: An evolution for the benefit of Québec entrepreneurs and companies.”
