Drinking Water in Brome Lake: Capacity and Consumption Report

During various public consultations, we received many testimonials from our population expressing their concern about our ability to supply drinking water to all our water network users.

We give you an overview of the current situation right here.

Our current daily drinking water production capacity (3,730 m3 of water) is more than twice as high as the daily consumption of the population connected to the network (1,800 m3 of water).

Safety Reminder for Swimming Pools

- Make sure your pool is inaccessible when you're not using it. Install fencing, gates and ladders with self-closing devices.

- Always appoint a responsible adult to ensure constant supervision.

- Don't forget that the installation of a pool, whether in-ground or above-ground, requires a certificate of authorization from the town. You can do this online using our tool.

New Promotional Clothing Line!

Designed in partnership with the Kool Club illustrators' collectives (Sarah Bean, Antoine Lapierre et Aicha Smaili-Carpentier), this new line of promotional items consisting of a t-shirt, crewneck, and two reusable bags demonstrates that Brome Lake has many faces.

Asked to capture what Brome Lake means to them, the artists chose ducks, paddleboards, antique shops and lakeside picnics to capture the authenticity and diversity of our region.

Produced in limited quantities, these items are available online at tourismelacbrome.square.site and can be picked up at our tourist office on weekends.
