Call for needs, technological innovations and expertise to fight COVID-19
As part of its mission to mobilize innovation in medical technologies and in the wake of the global effort to counter the COVID-19 pandemic, the TransMedTech Institute is launching a call for needs, offers of expertise and/or technological innovations. Our aim is to quickly evaluate/assess and prioritize successful proposals in order to develop "innovative technological solutions likely to respond to the many challenges of the current VIDOC-19 crisis". Accepted proposals will start within 2 to 4 weeks, with key deliverables achievable within 2 to 6 months.
This call differs from traditional calls for projects in that you can send us directly your technological needs, your offers of expertise and/or submit a request for support for a technological innovation. According to our Living Lab approach, the TransMedTech Institute will quickly process the proposals, in order to co-construct projects to be initiated in agile mode within 2-4 weeks, including financial support whose TransMedTech envelope could range from $5,000 to $50,000 per project and include other contributions from additional partners.
The criteria for project selection will be relevance, importance, feasibility and rapid impact to fight COVID-19 and its consequences. All TransMedTech ecosystem partners are invited to participate.
It is anticipated that successful proposals will be evaluated and prioritized in a timely manner. If your proposal appears promising, you may be contacted directly to gain a better understanding of the need, expertise or project.
Let's be mobilized and innovative to mitigate the spread and severity of VIDOC-19!
