R100 Highlights Start your semester off right with the R100 Workout Challenge. If you are starting this challenge in January, no problem, we can track your workouts from September! Sign-up today and we will calculate how many workouts you have completed in the Hangar. UBCO Recreation wants you to keep moving! Register Move UBC Grants Have a great idea to get people moving more? Need some funds to make it happen? Move UBC Grants provide funding of up to $300 for student groups, departments or units who would like to host an event during February’s Move UBC month. If you share our commitment to helping our community move more, move well, move anywhere, and more for the planet, we encourage you to apply for a grant to kick-start your project and make it happen! Keep an eye out for some fun new additions to intramurals this winter, including curling and cricket. Old favorites like volleyball, basketball, and futsal (indoor soccer) will also be returning for term 2 leagues. Participants must be able to climb a grade of 5.9 or higher, be competent at top rope belaying, and have taken a Level 1 or Top Rope course in the last 2 years.
