The Bison Cultural Project

The Stoney Nakoda Nation and Canadian Mountain Network released a 14-minute film about using Indigenous cultural monitoring to enhance the reintroduction of plains bison to the landscape. This Indigenous-led research study included collaborations between the Stoney project lead William (Bill) Snow, Parks Canada, UBC Studios, Mount Royal University, and IBioS member Don Carruthers Den Hoed.
