2.1. INSURANCE FOR CANADIAN CITIZENS, PERMANENT RESIDENTS AND REFUGEE STUDENTS

Your student association (AÉCSP), offers a group health and dental insurance plan to its members. Polytechnique Montréal's students are automatically registered to this insurance plan, which supplements the provincial health insurance plan (RAMQ).

View ASEQ's health and dental insurance information capsule (in French only).

2.2. INSURANCE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

All international students are automatically registered to the international student health and hospital insurance (ASHEE). They are also enrolled in the dental portion of the group plan offered by the AÉCSP (see the section above).

Attention: Several students (including most students from Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Sweden and Romania) can be exempted from ASHEE and thus benefit from Quebec's Health Insurance Plan (RAMQ) and AÉCSP's health and dental insurance plan.

How to proceed?

Examen de rédaction complémentaire

All graduate students at Polytechnique Montréal are required to prepare a study plan.

Your study plan consists of a list of all the academic activities (workshops, courses, internships, projects and seminars) and research activities you must complete for your program.

Your proposed study plan must be completed using the designated form. The plan must be approved by your Supervisor or your Research Supervisor, and by your graduate studies coordinator.

Your study plan must then be approved by the Registrar’s Office no later than the deadline indicated for modifying course selections, which is January 20 for the winter 2023 semester.
