NB-IRDT joins Canada’s Energy Data Trust

New study published on Ontario’s correctional system

Scientists from ICES are the first in Canada to utilize population-level administrative health data to examine how correctional populations in Ontario are using health care services overall and for substance-use-related issues. The goal is to better understand their needs and identify system improvements.

Another year of impactful population research


Manitoba Centre for Health Policy has released its 2024-2025 Annual Report, marking another year of creating and facilitating impactful population research that explores the health and well-being of Manitobans through its repository of linkable administrative data. Improving the quality of paediatric diabetes care in BC


Data access has been granted for a new study supported by Population Data BC that will link researcher-collected data with data sets from the BC Ministry of Health, the BC Perinatal Data Registry, LifeLabs and the BC Pediatric Diabetes Registry to inform clinical practice in response to rising levels of diabetes in children in Canada and globally.

New mother–child data linkages released

Researchers can now explore maternal and infant outcomes using Statistics Canada's newly updated mother-centric data linkages. The 2023 release combines birth, census and health records to support research on social determinants and early life health, including child mortality and child hospitalization data.

Leading the way for Indigenous health solutions
