Instructional Skills Workshop: A Collaborative Way to Enhance Your Teaching Skills

Join us for a four-day workshop designed to enhance the teaching effectiveness of new and experienced educators. During the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) you will create and conduct three "mini-lessons" within a small group and receive valuable feedback. The ISW uses an intensive experiential learning approach, allowing you to develop a collection of instructional resources. You will leave the workshop with an introduction to the theory and practice of teaching, the ability to select useful lesson plans and intended learning outcomes, and more.

"ISW is similar to life; both make learning possible through experience." -LucĂa Anaya
