The pool is open with the following hours of operation:

  • Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

District staff have secured a contractor to complete the work required to re-open the steam room. This work includes removing and replacing the existing steam room bench tiles.

Work is anticipated to be completed by the end of June. Thank you for your continued patience as we work through this process.

LEAP Camps

Our LEAP (Learning through Exploration, Activity, and Play) Camps run for two hours a day with an educational focus, helping little ones get used to being away from their parent(s) or caregiver(s) and begin learning routines independently. LEAP Camps support the development of movement skills, healthy habits, positive behaviours, and confidence.

Note: Children must be able to use the washroom independently to attend.

Certification Programs for Youth

We offer a range of leadership and training programs to help youth build confidence, gain valuable life skills and earn specialized certifications for employment.

Wellness through Creativity

If laughter is the best medicine, these programs are just what the doctor ordered. Join us on Wednesdays 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. at The 55 Activity Centre for this fun, open and interactive program that will give space to your imagination.

Summer Camps

Hearing Loop Technology

Hearing loop technology was recently installed in Council Chambers. This allows hearing aid and cochlear implant users to stream audio seamlessly into their devices, increasing accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing. In addition, portable hearing loops were installed at the front counters in Brennan Park Recreation Centre, The 55 Activity Centre, and the Squamish Public Library. This initiative stems from the accessibility audits completed last summer.
