Registration for the International Conference on Water Management Modeling (ICWMM) 2026 is open. This event, taking place February 25–27, 2026 in Toronto, ON, brings together water management professionals and researchers to explore advances in stormwater, watershed, wastewater, and distribution system modeling. Attendees can choose standard conference registration or add pre-conference workshops on PCSWMM and EPA SWMM5 for hands-on training.

International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID) Webinar Series

ICID has started a “Technical Webinar Series” on the theme "Smart Irrigation Management" showcasing best practices and success stories in agricultural water management. The fourth webinar of this series is on the topic “Application of Remote Sensing in Crop Water Management and Water Resource Monitoring ” is scheduled on January 20, 2026 at 14:30 hrs (IST). IAH Canada's Committee for Groundwater Advocacy

Through its Committee for Groundwater Advocacy (CGA), IAH Canada is advancing national efforts to strengthen the visibility of groundwater in freshwater policy and supports informed monitoring and management of groundwater resources nationwide.

Building on developed advocacy recommendations, the CGA is currently leading outreach campaigns that encourage water professionals and decision-makers to use groundwater-inclusive terminology, strengthen groundwater monitoring and reporting, integrate groundwater into freshwater policy and management, and increase awareness of groundwater’s critical role in freshwater security.

8th Conference on Natural Channel Systems 

June 8 - 10, 2026      

McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario                    

This year’s theme, “Resilient River Corridors: Navigating Challenges, Opportunities and Change,” will look back at what factors have affected and changed our river corridors since the conference was first held 30 years ago and the importance of addressing the entire river corridor in our watercourse management practices. The Call for Sessions is open until Nov 30th.
