At the upcoming local government election this October, eligible Langley City voters will have the opportunity to participate in a separate, non-binding Community Opinion Vote. Voters will inform incoming Council whether the City should continue planning for two proposed facility expansions:

• Al Anderson Memorial Pool to provide year-round access

• Timms Community Centre combined with a new Performing Arts and Cultural Centre
