En-tête Aéro Montréal

Aéro Montréal's mission is to mobilize stakeholders in Quebec's aerospace ecosystem to support its global reach, innovation capacity and growth.

// MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear members, dear partners,

I wanted to thank you very much for being present in such large numbers at our Annual General Meeting held last Friday. We were sold out a few days before the event and it was a pleasure to see you mobilized in such large numbers at the École nationale d'aérotechnique (ÉNA).

Eight companies will combine their efforts to carry out projects for the development of innovative products, technological solutions and processes, while involving universities, public research centres and SMEs. The total investments of these mobilizing projects are estimated at more than $94.9 million! A strong lever for our companies!

I would like to congratulate the teams from Airbus Canada, Bell Textron Canada Ltd., Bombardier, CMC Electronics, Flying Whales, Pratt & Whitney Canada, SAF + Consortium and Thales Canada Avionics who will be working on these mobilizing projects. It is a source of pride for the cluster to see our members mobilize to innovate. To learn more about the projects, I invite you to consult our press release.

Thank you again to everyone for your mobilization.

Collaboration Agreement – Fonds Écoleader

Aéro Montréal is pleased to partner with the Fonds Écoleader and its network of advisors as part of its Eco-responsibility initiative to offer our companies additional support in adopting eco-responsible practices.

This agreement was made possible in the context where, on April 14, the Quebec government announced the injection of $8.3 million into the Fonds Écoleader for the next year so that it can continue to support Quebec businesses in the integration of a wide range of eco-responsible business practices and clean technologies.

An association that will help extend and perpetuate the steps initiated with the diagnosis of Aéro Montréal’s Eco-responsibility initiative.

DEPLOYING THE FIRST CYBERSECURITY BEACONS: WHERE TO START?

Cybersecurity has become a major issue in the industrial world; aerospace companies are no exception. With the rise of cloud computing, aerospace companies are increasingly relying on cloud services to store and manage confidential data, which involves security risks.
