Given the red zone restrictions still in effect, the leisure activities of the usual programming remain suspended until further notice.

That being said, the library offers activities in virtual mode and the outdoor rinks will open soon. Something to keep you busy!

And let's not forget that Christmas is just around the corner! We have some suggestions to continue to make this season magical for young (and older)!

Library activities in the comfort of your own home

The municipal library will resume some activities by offering alternatives that respect the restrictions in the face of COVID-19.

Among these, a virtual meeting of the book club, crafts to do at home and even a virtual story hour.

Subscribe to the Bibliothèque et Centre Harpell - Sainte Anne de Bellevue Facebook page to stay up to date on upcoming activities!

Ready to skate?

Good news! The outdoor rinks will open as soon as weather permits. However, some measures must be observed:

At all times: A physical distance of two meters between people or family bubbles must be respected.

In the red zone: Organized activities are prohibited. Thus, playing hockey outdoors should be done alone or in pairs. The park chalets will be accessible only for the washrooms.

In orange or yellow zone: Access to the skate room will be allowed. Respect for health instructions (wearing a mask, physical distancing, etc.) must be applied.

Santa's Mailbox

Santa's elves have delivered a magical mailbox to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue!

If you drop your letter to Santa Claus in this mailbox by December 10, it will automatically be sent to the North Pole and Santa will have enough time to respond to you before Christmas. You will find the magical mailbox at the end of the enchanted animal trail that the elves also created just for you in the corridor between the library and the Centre Harpell.

PLEASE NOTE: The enchanted animal trail and the mailbox are accessible during library opening hours.

Food Bank Drive

On December 6th, 2020, starting at 12 p.m., volunteers from municipal services and from the community will cover all the streets of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue to collect donations.

When you hear the sirens and the air flutes on your street, all you have to do is step outside to hand in your donations. Please note that they won’t knock on your door! You can also leave your donations on your front porch or in the entrance hall of a multi-unit building, making sure to identify them clearly by writing “Guignolée”.

If you know of any companies that would like to contribute, or if you want to get involved in this project, contact the Food bank committee at 514-820-7174.
