Computer Purchases

Don't forget to submit any year-end computer or technology purchases before the FY23 year end deadlines. 
We do have some previously used PC laptops, monitors and new docks available for departments to purchase. Please submit a Hardware Request in the Self-Service Portal.  

Zoom Updates

Don't forget to update Zoom to ensure you can continue to receive important upgrades. Version 5.10.3 is now the minimum version required globally, as part of Zoom's quarterly lifecycle policy. If you have any troubles upgrading your Zoom account please request help in the UBC Self-Service Portal.

UBCO Studios Equipment

Find equipment, learn its availability and book the gear—all at no cost to faculty and staff, including video cameras, stills cameras, microphones and podcast gear. Check out UBC Studios' Okanagan's equipment lending program in COM 204 open Tuesdays to Fridays from 9-4. 

Whiteboard now in Teams

Brainstorm with your team in real-time or express your ideas in a diagram. You can prepare the Whiteboard content in advance from a Microsoft Teams meeting, chat, or channel and reference it after your collaboration session. The Whiteboard content is stored securely in OneDrive.
