This week’s final educator resources for 2024, Giving Back & Forward, are dedicated to supporting holistic wellness for you and your students — anytime of the year. The resources include a video on teacher wellness, a report highlighting school wellness initiatives across Canada, and a peer-led video for middle school students with practical tips for mental and physical well-being.

As we close out this year’s curated educator resources, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible work you do and the care you show every day.

We wish you an abundance of health, happiness, and well-deserved rest this holiday season and always!

Educator Resources:

  1. Curated by the Alberta Teachers' Association, check out Videos on Teacher Wellness

  2. Led by the Alberta Teachers' Association, School Wellness and Well-Being Initiatives Across Canada is an environmental scan and literature review that offers educators valuable insights and practical ideas to support wellness initiatives in their schools and communities.

  3. Wellness is part of the Mind Frame video series, where host Rylee Davis explores what wellness truly means and shares practical tips for staying mentally and physically healthy in today’s busy world. Designed for middle school audiences, Mind Frame helps de-stigmatize conversations about mental health and wellness through relatable, peer-led discussions.

For those unfamiliar with Myles Ahead, we are a national charity dedicated to advancing child and youth mental health. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
