On behalf of the ANBLPN Board of Directors and staff, I would like to thank all of you for your professionalism and dedication in this changing world we are currently living in.

  • Welcoming new regional members and a new Public member to our Board of Directors.

  • Online proctoring for CPNRE.
  • Continue to work collaboratively with Provincial and National stakeholders.

NEW: Pre-Authorized Debit for 2022 License

Are you tired of the lump sum payment at the end of the renewal year? Is your employer no longer participating in payroll deduction? Do you want more control/access to your renewal funds?

YOU ASKED AND WE ARE DELIVERING!

Beginning December 1, 2020 when you login to your ANBLPN Alinity account ( www.anblpn.ca - Registration tab – LOGIN) you will see a new side option to “Signup for PAD”(pre-authorized debit).

When the “Signup for PAD option” is clicked, a screen will appear to enter your banking information.

  • Bank #
  • Branch #
  • Account #

The 6 major banks (BMO, TD, RBC, CIBC, Scotiabank, and UNI) are accepted.

You will then be able to pay for your future renewal fees through monthly withdrawals from your bank account and avoid the lump sum payment at the end of the registration year.

After you sign up for PAD you will see a side menu “My PAD payments” which allows you to see all the PAD payments you have made during the year, and provide options to update or cancel your subscription.

Payments of $36.12 from your account will be withdrawn on the 15th of each month starting January 15, 2021 and the last payment September 15, 2021 for the 2021-2022 registration year.

When renewal opens in 2021, you will complete your renewal application and your money will be applied to your approved registration. That’s all there is for you to do!

Immunization Module

Through consultations with the Department of Health and Public Health, we are pleased to release our newly developed education module available to our LPN members: “Immunization Module for LPNs”.

Immunization is an advanced competency for all LPNs, this module will provide LPNs with the additional educational theory required to provide immunizations. Once the theory is obtained, LPNs can then work with their employers to achieve their clinical mentorship. Be ready for flu season and the future COVID-19 vaccine!

Cost: $50.00 (plus tax)

We are currently taking registrations for the January 2021 intake group. If you would like to register please email: practiceconsultant@npls.ca

President Award Recipients

ANBLPN is extending congratulations to the PN students who were chosen for the President's Award.  These students graduated in  October 2019, December 2019 and June 2020. Normally each recipient would be recognized at our evening social as part of our Annual General Meeting. However,  due to COVID-19 we were unable to hold this event.

Recipients of this award are chosen by the faculty members and peers from each college campus. Selection for this award is based on the quality and impact of a student’s professional practice on clients and families’ wellbeing, and for the exceptional quality of his or her communication skills.
