A word from the Executive Director

Hello to all of you,

XPLOR, the annual gathering of the mining industry, is coming our way. This October 5-6, at the Place Bonaventure in Montréal, will be your chance to take part in a movement that has come to define who we are in the province of Québec.

I am proud of how far the QMEA has come over the last few years. Despite difficult conditions, we were able to maintain our orientation and support numerous mining exploration initiatives.

This year more than ever, we need your help to better promote a durable and responsible way of exploring Québec’s mineral resources. Together, we hope to keep energizing Québec’s exploration works by promoting innovative solutions. With that in mind, we are counting on your participation at XPLOR to support the efforts of your association and, furthermore, to see all of you in this great gathering.

By taking part in XPLOR this year, you will have the opportunity of witnessing the field’s latest innovations as well as keeping your knowledge sharp and up-to-date by attending workshops and conferences. In addition, many eminent specialists will be attending this event, namely from the fields of economy, geology, exploration and environment.

The success and longevity of our organization’s annual actions depend on the success of this gathering. Be there!
