Unveiling new QR Codes and Videos to complement SENĆOŦEN House Signs 

We have recently added QR codes to each of the five student houses on campus so visitors and new arrivals can better connect with the SENĆOŦEN language, practice the pronunciation of each house name and learn more about the significance of these names. View a sample here.

Pearson Student Awarded Loran Scholarship!

We were thrilled to hear that second-year student Kira (YR 49/2024, Canada-NWT) was named a Loran Scholar earlier this month! ⁠⁠The Loran Award is Canada’s largest and most comprehensive⁠ undergraduate award, granted to young people based on character, commitment to service in their community, and leadership potential.⁠

HENEN ̧ wins back-to-back Golden Shoes!

Congratulations to HENEN ̧ house for winning their second straight Golden Shoe football tournament! We had so much fun at the Juan de Fuca Velodrome field, a great break from exam prep.

From March 18th to 22nd, students and staff participated in Project Week, during which they led many activities across the island and part of the Lower Mainland. Cultivating Education at Pearson

During Easter, the Pearson community was treated to a special, student-led edition of TEDx at the Max Bell! The theme was "Cultivating Education," highlighting the importance of sustainable development and introducing new and exciting ideas from student speakers and alum Lucas Olscamp and Corey Bradshaw.⁠⁠Thanks to our students, staff, alumni speakers, and the Pearson TEDx crew for a great event!⁠
