Pour sa grande première, Jean-François Rivest vous propose de la musique qui guérit.

Cette première rencontre entre I Musici et son nouveau chef vous propose une expérience unique; un véritable parcours de guérison. D’abord, Julie Triquet, notre violon-solo, grâce à Fratres, et son aura planante et méditative, saura arrêter le temps qui file. Le puissant Quatuor de Chostakovitch, par sa dimension autobiographique et sa dédicace aux victimes de l’Holocauste, saura vous émouvoir jusqu’au fond de l’être. C’est une musique d’empathie, et surtout d’humanité. Viendra ensuite le sublime Quatuor en ré mineur de Mozart… tel un baume, une bouffée d’air frais, de beauté et de tendresse…

For his big premiere, Jean-François Rivest offers you music that heals.

This first gathering between I Musici and its new conductor offers you a unique experience, a true healing journey. First, Julie Triquet, our solo violin, with the help of Fratres and its soaring and meditative aura, will know how to stop the passing of time. The powerful Chostakovich's Quartet, with its autobiographical dimension and its dedication to the victims of the Holocaust, will move you to the depths of your being. This music brings empathy, and above all, humanity. Next will come Mozart's sublime Quartet in D minor ... like a balm, a breath of fresh air, beauty and tenderness ... No other composer can allow us to aspire to a so deep rebirth!

I Musici de Montréal

Fondé en 1983 par Yuli Turovsky, l’Orchestre de chambre I Musici de Montréal est composé de 15 musiciens d’exception, dont le répertoire varié s’étend du 17e siècle à aujourd’hui. Jean-Françcois Rivest, chef renommé et pédagogue, en est le nouveau chef d'orchestre. I Musici de Montréal interprète et fait la promotion d’une programmation originale misant sur la découverte, la tradition et l’innovation en musique classique.

Founded in 1983 by Yuli Turovsky, the I Musici de Montréal Chamber Orchestra is composed of 15 exceptional musicians whose varied repertoire extends from the 17th century to the present day. Jean-Françcois Rivest, renowned conductor and teacher, is the new conductor of the orchestra. I Musici de Montréal interprets and promotes original programming based on discovery, tradition and innovation in classical music.
